Structure

The structure of an records the business relationships between the entity and its linked entities. It's used to build a structure detailing shareholders, directors, beneficial owners, or third party recipients of funds etc... Each related entity may in turn have its own list of linked entities.

This structure informs about which entities relate to the customer, and therefore which entities will need consideration in a .

Since an entity can appear in many in Proofdesk, it's possible to engage in a relationship with multiple entities in a controlling party structure. This means that any structure built out from previous relationships carries when engaging a related entity, and additions to the structure will be reflected in the original relationship if applicable.


The form keeps the following details about a linked entity:

  • Role: The nature of the linked entity's relationship to the subject entity eg: shareholder, director etc...

  • ID&V: Whether the linked entity should be subject to ID&V

  • Start Date: The date the relationship started

  • End Date: The date the relationship ended if applicable

  • Notes: Free text input for any additional details
