Organisations
An organisation is the workspace where all of your policies, entities and relationships are stored, with each organisation matching a "relevant person" or "licence holder" in the real world. Put simply, your organisation is the company that you work for and the business that your customers engage with.
" (1) In this Code — “relevant person” means a person carrying on business in the regulated sector which is included in paragraphs 2(6)(a) to (t) of Schedule 4 to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2008;"

Regulated Activities
When you create your organisation in Proofdesk, you'll be asked to provide its name and a list of licence types that it holds. This information should match the data shown about your organisation on the FSA's register.
If you need to update any of these details at a later date, please contact us.
Managing Multiple Organisations
Many compliance teams are responsible for multiple "relevant persons" within the same group structure. In this case, you should create a new organisation for each "relevant person" that is required to submit an annual return.
Proofdesk allows you to invite your team to contribute within multiple organisations using the same user account and email address. This makes it quick and easy to switch between organisations from the same user account.
