Relationship Details

A form which is a part of the relationship review checklist, containing details of the nature of a customer relationship.


Relationship details contains the following fields:

  • Nature and Purpose: Freeform text to explain the commercial rationale for the relationship, the services the organisation will provide to the customer and any other details that may be necessary to evidence.

  • Regulated Activities: A field to indicate which of the organisation's regulated activities are relevant for this relationship.

  • Source of Business: Whether the business was referred (by an existing customer), introduced (by an introducer) or direct (independently sourced).

    • Introducer: Appears if the source of business is introduced. The entity or entities which introduced the relationship.

  • Face-to-Face Meeting: Whether the customer entity has been met by the firm directly, by a third party of the firm or not at all.

  • Face-to-Face Participants: Whether the firm understands who met the customer.

  • Source of Funds: Freeform text to provide details of how the customer is paying fees to the organisation and the source of the funds they are using.

  • Concession: Any concession that applies to this relationship.

  • Additional Information: Freeform text for any additional information.
